HK USP | Personal Project

In this project, I decided to work on an HK USP pistol in order to strengthen my hard-surface modeling skills. Throughout the process, I made extensive use of booleans to achieve clean and complex shapes, which greatly improved my understanding of how to approach detailed hard-surface assets. I also took the opportunity to experiment with creating high-poly meshes through the remesh method, a workflow that allowed me to refine the forms and prepare a solid base for baking.
Once the modeling was complete, I pushed myself further on the texturing side, focusing on adding subtle wear, material definition, and realistic surface details. Finally, I spent time improving the staging and presentation of the asset, aiming to give it a more polished and impactful look.
This project has been a valuable step forward in both my technical understanding and my artistic approach to hard-surface modeling.
